Strengthening friendship, solidarity and development between Vietnam and Cuba

Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan thanks the Politburo Member and Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) Central Committee Roberto Morales Ojeda for taking the time to welcome the delegation of Bac Ninh province.

On October 2, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan and members of the delegation had a meeting with Mr. Roberto Morales Ojeda. Also attending the meeting was Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba Le Quang Long.

At the meeting, the two sides emphasized the importance of strengthening the cooperative relationship and mutual support for mutual development. Mr. Roberto Morales Ojeda provided general information on the socio-economic situation of Cuba, discussed Party building work, and the development of Party members and Youth Union members. He thanked Bac Ninh province for its exchanges and support for Cuba's Artemisa province. Mr. Toberto Morales Ojeda affirmed that the visit of the delegation of Bac Ninh province (Vietnam) is an opportunity to strengthen relations between the provincial committees of the two countries to implement the approved cooperation agreements. This is also part of the cooperation roadmap signed between the Communist Party of Cuba and the Communist Party of Vietnam, aiming to learn from each other's experiences and deal with the challenges that both countries are facing.

Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan thanked Mr. Roberto Morales Ojeda for the warm welcome given to the Bac Ninh provincial delegation. He believed that under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba, the Cuban people would soon overcome difficulties and challenges and achieve rapid and prosperous development.

The visit and work of the delegation of Bac Ninh province to Cuba aims to strengthen cooperation in food production; biotechnology; learning from important economic centers of Cuba such as: Mariel Special Development Zone... It is expected to implement the upcoming cooperation plan between Bac Ninh province and Artemisa province of Cuba as well as promote a number of Vietnamese enterprises to invest in Vimariel Industrial Park invested by Viglacera Corporation of Vietnam in Cuba. Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan affirmed that the visit and work of the delegation of Bac Ninh province was a great success. He hoped that enterprises of Bac Ninh in particular and Vietnam in general would seek cooperation and investment opportunities, especially in the fields of industry, food production and biotechnology where Cuba has strengths.

On the same day, the delegation of Bac Ninh province visited the Center displaying documents introducing the revolutionary activities of Cuban Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz in La Havana capital.

Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan directly listened to the introduction of documents and images of activities of leader Fidel Castro Ruz. He expressed his respect and appreciation for the preservation and propaganda work of the Documentary Exhibition Center. The Secretary thanked Cuban friends for always being aware of and promoting the introduction of documents about the country and people of Vietnam, linking the activities of Mr. Fidel Castro Ruz in the work of propaganda and education of revolutionary traditions, especially for the young generation of Cuba.
