Chairman Kim Ghee Hwan sincerely thanked the leaders of Bac Ninh province for their warm welcome to the delegation of KF. He informed that the KF, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea, was established in 1991 to promote a better understanding of Korea in the international community and foster global friendship through various exchange activities with other countries. He emphasized that Bac Ninh is a locality attracting many large Korean enterprises, highlighting its importance in Korea's investment strategy. The purpose of the KF's trip to Vietnam and Bac Ninh is to strengthen cooperation in international exhibitions, develop projects supporting artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, digital transformation, and provide training in Korean studies and STEM subjects. The Foundation aims to serve as a bridge between people and connect Korea with the world.

Welcoming the KF delegation to Bac Ninh, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized the strategic cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, particularly in Bac Ninh. He expressed gratitude for the support the foundation provided during Bac Ninh's delegation's trip to Korea in 2023. In order to further strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two sides and bring about far-reaching results, in the coming time, he hoped that the KF would continue to pay attention and support Bac Ninh province in promoting relations and cooperation with Korea through the implementation of the Foundation's projects; encouraging Korean enterprises to explore investment in areas that Bac Ninh is prioritizing such as semiconductor manufacturing, supporting industries, information technology, urban infrastructure development, etc.
