PPC’s Secretary receives and works with Chairman of Korean Phillips Group

On July 19, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC) and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies received and worked with Mr. Bang Seung Ho, Chairman of Phillips  International Group came to learn about investment attraction policies and visited industrial zones and clusters of the province.

Also attending the working session were Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and sectors.

 

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan presented a souvenir to Mr. Bang Seung Ho.

 

Expressing his pleasure to welcome the delegation, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan provided general information about about the geographical location and socio-economic development situation of the province; Potential and development orientation of Gia Binh II Industrial Park. In particular, emphasize the achievements in attracting and developing the industrial sector. Currently, Bac Ninh has 15 concentrated industrial parks, 1 information technology park and more than 30 industrial clusters with a planned area of ​​about 7,000 hectares; it currently boasts more than 2,300 foreign-invested projects worth $28 billion of which 40% are businesses from Korea. The Secretary affirmed that Bac Ninh always welcomes investors to invest in the province. Provincial leaders and departments, sectors and localities always pay attention and provide maximum support to businesses in the process of researching and implementing investments, ha added.

Mr. Bang Seung Ho thanked Bac Ninh province for the respectful welcome, especially the views of the Secretary, which brought confidence to the Group's determination to explore investment in Bac Ninh. In the coming time, the Group's products will arrive at ports and reach consumers to evaluate the potential of the Vietnamese market, as a premise for investing and building factories to serve domestic needs and export to Korea and the world market. After the working session, the Group discussed to agree on investment policies in Vietnam and would soon have feedback to the province. In the immediate future, the Group hoped that Bac Ninh would maintain the relationship and hoped that in the future there would be good results between the two sides.

Before that, the delegation went on a field survey at Gia Binh II Industrial Park (Gia Binh district).
