Bac Ninh has 5 individuals awarded title of Craft Village Artistan

The organizing committee awards certificates conferring the title of Vietnamese Craft Village Artistan to individuals.

Among the 145 individuals awarded the title of Vietnamese Craft Village Artist this time, Bac Ninh is honored to have 5 artisans including: 4 Phu Khe wood carvers (Tu Son city): Le Huu Tho in Phu Khe Dong; Nguyen Van Loi, Le Trong Hoan, Dam Van Quang in Phu Khe Thuong and artist Nguyen Huu Hoa, Dong Ho folk painting village (Song Ho ward, Thuan Thanh town).

Artist Nguyen Huu Hoa, Dong Ho folk painting village (Thuan Thanh) is one of 5 artisans from Bac Ninh honored to be awarded this time.

The ceremony to confer titles on Vietnamese craft villages is a periodic activity of the Association held every 2 years, starting from 2007. After 10 times, the Association has awarded 73 typical craft villages; 1,041 Vietnamese Craft Village artisans (including 82 Culinary Arts and Culture artisans); 72 typical craft village economic units; 10 quintessential craft village treasures; 100 typical quintessential handicraft products of craft villages; 131 skilled workers in Vietnamese craft villages; 124 pounds of family gold.
