Open letter from Chairman of Provincial People's Committee to enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business households

In the letter, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province respectfully expressed his sincere and deep thanks to the leaders of enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business households (investors) for their significant contributions to the development of the province to become increasingly rich, civilized, and prosperous.

At the same time, he stated that in the context of the general difficulties of the economy, despite facing many challenges, investors in the province have responded promptly, dynamically, and creatively, thereby, contributing to bringing Bac Ninh province's economy into a new growth cycle in 2024: Attracting foreign  direct investment (FDI) in the first 8 months of the year reached over USD 3.2 billion, ranking first nationwide; Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in the second quarter of 2024 increased by 8.06%; in the first 7 months of the year, the index of industrial production (IIP) increased by 10.4% over the same period in 2023.

Bac Ninh province highly appreciates the spirit of overcoming difficulties and the confidence of investors in its business environment while also capitalizing on new opportunities in line with global and Vietnamese economic development trends. With efforts and expectations, growth in 2024 will gradually regain strong momentum and strive to achieve the full-year GRDP growth target of 5.5-6.2%. The Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman hoped that the domestic and foreign business community, cooperatives and business households would continue to make greater efforts, be creative, innovate, take advantage of all new investment opportunities, and make breakthroughs to become more and more efficient in production and business.

Bac Ninh is committed to continuing our efforts to enhance reforms, improve the investment and business environment, ensure transparency, and address difficulties and issues through all available channels, in order to collaborate with investors; support and create the most favorable conditions for accessing information on planning, land, infrastructure, human resource training, business opportunities, as well as priority investment projects to help develop Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city and protect investors' interests in accordance with the law.
